Roman/Celtic, bronze of Heracles (Hercules), 1st cent. AD, 8.7cm x 5cm, standing nude muscular male figure with the weight on his right foot, left leg slightly bent to the side, club in right hand, wine cup in left hand with a lion-skin draped over his arm, head facing forward with circular protruding eyes, thick bearded jaw and hair bound in a fillet surmounted with a wreath. Very fine condition with a green patina £400-£600
