Shekel of Israel, Year 2 in Paleo-Hebrew); around above Omer cup with beads and pearled rim, the base is raised by projections on ends. Reverse: In Paleo-Hebrew, Jerusalem the holy; staff with three pomegranate buds, round base. Hendin 1358; TJC 193; AJC 8. Boldly struck on a slightly porous flan. Removed from a 14K gold mount with signs of edge filing.
