THRACE, Chersonesos. Circa 386-338 BC. AR Hemidrachm (15mm, 2.35 g). Forepart of lion right, head reverted / Quadripartite incuse square with alternating raised and sunken quarters, VE monogram to right of pellet and pentagram below pellet in opposite sunken quarters. McClean –; HGC 3, 1437; BMC 43. Test cut on edge. Good VF. Struck on a broad flan.
