KINGS of MACEDON. Philip III Arrhidaios. 323-317 BC. Fourrée Hemidrachm (12mm, 1.18 g, 1h). Imitating Babylon mint issue, circa 320-319/8 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; wheel and monogram in left field, [monogram below throne?]. For prototype, cf. SNG Saroglos 891 (hemidrachm denomination of Price P191). Toned, areas of roughness, plating broken in spots. VF. Rare fourrée.
