MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 550-450 BC. EL Stater (19mm, 15.96 g). Hound at bay, on tunny, left / Quadripartite incuse square. Von Fritze I 93 var. (foreleg raised); Boston MFA 1469 var. (same); SNG BN 230 var. (same). Off center, edge split. VF. Rare variety with the hound's foreleg lowered, rather than raised, as is usually seen.
