IONIA, Ephesos. Circa 180-67 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29.5mm, 12.36 g, 1h). Cistophoric standard. Dated CY 2 (133/2 BC). Cista mystica with serpent; all within ivy wreath / Two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase; bee above, B (date) to upper left, torch to right. Kleiner & Noe Series 41; SNG Copenhagen 316. Toned, traces of find patina, flan cracks, some smoothing on reverse. VF.
