Constans. AD 337-350. Æ Medallion (30.5mm, 24.58 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 340-350. Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Roma seated left on shield, holding Victory on globe, and spear. Ntantalia 115 (V80/R78); Gnecchi 31; RIC VIII 403. Rough dark green patina, a few marks. Fine. Rare. A protocontorniate, the edges having been tapped to create raised rims.
