L. Cassius Longinus. AR Denarius, 63 BC. Obv. Veiled and draped bust of Vesta left; behind, kylix; before, A. Rev. Male figure left, dropping tablet inscribed V (Vti rogas) into a cista; behind, LONGIN III V. Cr. 413/1; B. 10. AR. 3.65 g. 19.50 mm. Superb and perfectly centred on a broad, round flan. Spectacular obverse and very minor peripheral striking weakness on reverse. Brilliant and prettily toned, with a hint of iridescence. Good EF/EF. ���
