Pius (as Genius), togate, standing facing, head left, holding branch and sceptre. RIC III 69. AR. 3.23 g. 18.50 mm. An outstanding example, from a spectacular reverse die, prettily toned, with iridescent highlights. EF. ���

On this masterly engraved reverse die, the genius of the Senate, togate and bearded, looks undoubtedly like Antoninus Pius.
