Byzantine Empire BI Token. Uncertain mint, 6th-7th centuries AD. Two crosses flanking large I / KΘ; - below; uncertain legend (...UC ⧾ ΔIV...) around. Cf. CNG E-239, lot 594. 2.72g, 15mm, 2h.

Very Fine; the heavy encrustation makes this piece have the appearance of bronze or perhaps lead, however the harsh cleaning has revealed silver-like surfaces underneath.
