SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Gordian III. 238-244 AD. Billon Tetradrachm (15.02 gm; 30mm x 25mm). Antioch, struck 242 AD. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Eagle standing facing, head left, wreath in beak; crescent and ram between legs. Prieur 295. Sharply struck on a nice broad medallic flan. Choice AU with some luster.
