KINGS of PERSIS. Vadfradad (Autophradates) II. 200-150 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.54 gm; 25 mm). Head right, with short beard, wearing diadem and kyrbasia surmounted by eagle / Fire temple, Ahura-Mazda above; to left, king standing right; to right, standard surmounted by eagle. Sunrise 574; Alram 546. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Nicely centered. Not from the recent hoard. Choice EF. Nice old-cabinet toning. Lovely example.
