Bright purple hues grace both sides of this large sized and highest denomination from the only series of notes created for the Netherlands Trading Society. The $50 and $100 dated 1922 are unconfirmed as fully issued notes, making Specimen, Proofs, and Trials the only known formats to acquire these high denominations. Only the briefest of handling is present on this offered Specimen. Printer notations and a perforated cancellation are mentioned for accuracy. At the time of cataloging, there are only three Specimen graded in the PMG Population Report.
