India Reserve Bank of India, Kanpur 100 Rupees ND (1944) Pick UNL Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 4.7.2E PMG Very Fine 30. "Kanpur" issued 100 Rupees are very scarce, and are seen much less frequently than "Cawnpore" notes. C.D. Deshmukh signed this note, and its side-facing watermark. Typical notations and holes are mentioned for accuracy. The overall presentation is still quite good. Most likely, this spelling indicates that this type was the final variety for present-day Kanpur, as indicated by the modern spelling. https://currency.ha.com/itm/world-currency/india-reserve-bank-of-india-kanpur-100-rupees-nd-1944-pick-unl-jhunjhunwalla-razack-472e-pmg-very-fine-30/a/4030-26411.s?type=CoinArchivesCurrency4030 HID08706262019 © 2020 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
