Malaya and British Borneo Board of Commissioners of Currency 10,000 Dollars 21.3.1953 Pick 7s KNB7S Specimen PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ. A pleasing Specimen from the first issue by the Board of Commissioners of Currency, which was established in 1952 to provide common currency for Brunei, the Federation of Malaya, North Borneo, Sarawak, and Singapore. Printed by TDLR, this high denomination large format note shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II alongside orchids on the face, and a vignette of 16 coat of arms on the back. Seen on this example is a segmented security thread vertically, red "Specimen" overprints, and a perforated cancelled.
