Mongolia State Treasury Note 10 Dollars 1924 Pick 5r Remainder PMG Choice About Unc 58. Vibrant colors are seen on this example introduced in the 1924 Dollars series which was never released. English is seen on this example, as it was geared towards Europeans in an attempt to replace contemporary Chinese Yuan issues, which also featured English. From the serial number font, these notes were most likely printed in Russia. This is not unexpected as the main ruler of Mongolia at that time, Baron Ungern, was a Russian anti-Bolshevik military leader.
