Qing Dynasty. Yunnan Sanchuo Jieding ("Three-Stamp Remittance") "Packsaddle" Sycee of 5-1/2 Taels ND (c. 19th-20th Century) XF (Test Marks, Scratches), cf. Cribb-LXVI.I.836 (different weight and assay stamps), Assay Marks D3 and D1. 59x37mm. 207.39gm. Cast at Zhuyuyuan Bank, inspected by assayers Tong and She. Each of the three main stamps reads: "Zhu Yu Yuan Hao Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Zhuyuyuan Bank, remittance bank fine silver), assay stamps read: "Guan Gong Gu She Kan Qi" (Checked by official public assayer She) and "Guan Gong Gu Tong Kan Qi" (Checked by official public assayer Tong). Lightly patinated with fairly good detail preserved to the characters and a few minor test marks in the central stamp, as is frequently seen on the type.
