Bułgaria FOTO-PROJEKT 2 leva (1921) - tylko awers

Photographic proof (only face) of unissued 2 leva 1921. Very similar to Pick 31a, but the decorative ornament in centre is smaller than on circulating note.

Size of proofs: 144 x 85 mm.

In 2014, the english auction house SPINK sold photographic archives of nowadays nonexistent printing works BRADBURY WILKINSON & CO. These archives included photographic copies of projects of notes, which were to be printed, but the project resulted in failure and, as a result, these notes never went into circulation.
