Dav-2935. Quite deeply toned, this broad type displays some typical strike doubling, though it is in no way distracting. The baptismal scene is quite clear and pleasing, while the specimen itself is problem-free with some alluring brilliance remaining.

Featuring the baptismal scene of Christ and St. John the Baptist, these interesting issues were not specifically made for circulation nor did they convey a monetary value, but given their size, they acquired the name of 'baptismal talers.'
