Obverse: Bust facing slightly right; Reverse: Airship flying right, bombing various fortifications below. Mostly without toning, this highly argent specimen features intensely frosted devices and a great mirrored nature to the fields. A few stray hairlines are noted merely for completeness. Great aviation type featuring Zeppelin with his eponymous airship.
Zeppelin was a German general and aircraft manufacturer, who later founded the airship company Luftschiffbau Zeppelin. During World War I, many of his airships were utilized in scouting missions and bombing campaigns, most notably in Britain where their bombings killed over 500 citizens.
