BHM-2596; Eimer-1516; Taylor-52. Diameter: 54mm; Weight: 117.47 gms. Art Union of London series. By B. Wyon. Obverse: Bust right; Reverse: Facade of Somerset House. Edge: ART-UNION OF LONDON 1857. This reddish-brown example features a rather thick planchet as well as a very well rendered architectural depiction. Some light rub is noted only upon the high points, and a few minor spots are observed, but this specimen also offers some charming brilliance remaining as well.
