Obverse: Bust of Zapata facing slightly left, wearing sombrero and bandolier over shoulder; Reverse: Farmer plowing with yoke of oxen and driving tractor; rising sun on horizon in background; rising hands freed from shackles below. A large and highly engaging medal, this glistening specimen offers some frosting to the devices and great mirroring to the fields, though some hairlines are noted on each side.
