Barac-81. Type III. Weight: 128.83 gms. Obverse: Radiant sun, green enameled wreath containing red and white enameled inner ring and ring of diamonds; Peruvian coat-of-arms at center; Reverse: Clip for attachment, with central wreath containing two line inscription. VERY RARE and engaging, this sparkling award offers dazzling eye appeal. The Order of the Sun of Peru is the oldest civilian award in the Americas, reestablished in 1921 a full century after its founding.
