KM-138.2. Type VI Countermark, crowned Y.II. within circle. Issued by decree of 20 December 1834, suppressed 31 March 1837 (by decree of 1 February 1836). Countermark applied to the obverse of an 1834-LIMA MM Peru 8 Reales (KM-142). Quite deeply toned, with a lightly handled host coin and a very strong and bold countermark.
