TROAS, Zeleia. 5th century BC. AR Triobol – Hemidrachm (11mm, 1.93 g). Elements of chimaera: foreparts of lion, stag, and dragon(?), joined together at center and radiating outward / Facing gorgoneion within incuse square. Cf. SNG Arikantürk 796–7 (obols); Boston MFA 2325; M. Six, "Monnaies grecques, inédites et incertaines" in NC 1890, p. 235, 16. Toned, minor roughness, slightly weak strike on reverse. VF. Extremely rare.
