This puzzling piece seems to be unrecorded in references major and minor. The partial legend on the back seems to read O-ΠΟΝ, which could suggest Lokris Opountia (or Opous) as a possible issuer, but the types do not conform to any known bronze from that city. An interesting coin worthy of more in-depth research.
