KINGS of PERSIS. Baydād (Bagadat). Early 3rd century BC. AR Hemiobol? (10mm, 0.39 g, 4h). Istakhr (Persepolis) mint. Head right, with short beard, mustache, and earring, wearing kyrbasia with flaps tied behind / Fire temple of Ahura-Mazda; to left; [standard to right]. Cf. van't Haaff type 517A (obol); cf. K&M 2/5 (same); Alram –; Sunrise –. Iridescent toning, traces of deposits, slight doubling on obverse,varea of flat strike on reverse. Good VF. Very rare.
