THRACE, Abdera. Circa 475-450 BC. AR Triobol (12mm, 1.54 g, 6h). Griffin with plain wing seated left, raising forepaw / Head of bull left within incuse square. May, Abdera, Period III, Series I, 114 (A99/R93); SNG Copenhagen 318. Toned, light scratches on reverse. Near VF. Rare early issue with plain-winged griffin.
