Bust right, wearing Norman helmet decorated with cross pattée and chainmail coif; palm fronds flanking / Cruciform pattern consisting of pair of parallel horizontal and vertical lines, with each space containing a pellet; all within octalobe. Cf. Metcalf, Crusades 4813; CCS 1007. Rough brown and green patina. Fine. Rare.
