PORTUGUESE MALACCA: Ahmad Shah b. Mahmud Shah, 1510-1513, tin pitis (1.33g), SS-9, ahmad ibn / mahmud shah // al-sultan al-`adil, very nice strike for this usually crude type, EF, RR. Ahmad Shah took over in 1510/11 when his father abdicated, forced out of Malacca when it was conquered by the Portuguese in 1511, but was later executed by his father's order when he failed to retake Malacca in 1513.
