SOVEREIGN MILITARY ORDER OF MALTA: Emmanuel de Rohan, 1775-1797, AE 4 tari (4.96g), ND(1792), KM-341, seven countermarks (I, II, III, IV or V, VI, VII, and VIII) on (1636-1647) 4 tari (KM-68), including Paschal Lamb (1792), light oxidation, Fine on AG host. These countermarks were applied as a makeshift solution to the prevalence of copper forgeries then in circulation. They are dated by the latest countermark.
