CELTIC: Danube, AR Drachm, c. 2nd-1st Century BC (20mm, 1.4g). Obverse: Stylized head of Herakles right, with lionskin headdress (imitating the coinage of Alexander the Great. Reverse: Stylized Zeus seated left, holding eagle and sceptre, kantharus in left field. VF. Attractive, dark patina.
