CARIA, Uncertain. Circa 197 BC. AR Drachm (19mm, 3.95 g, 1h). In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; grape bunch in left field. Unpubulished, but see C. Lorber, "The 'Pseudo-Chios' mint: A new drachm mint in Asia Minor" in NC 180 (2020), for a likely related series, struck during the Fifth Syrian War. Good VF. Very rare.
Price 2766 has the same control mark of this issue, but the style of the example in the BM that he references is significantly different, thus unrelated.
