With a mintage of 295,720 pieces the 1875 is comparable in terms of rarity to the 1874.
One consider that about 4,800 pieces are surviving. Mostly in VF/EF but also in grades up to MS62.
A census of 8 or 9 pieces (including this one) are graded by PCGS/NGC in MS64. None above.
This coin is similar to lot 194 of our Auction 31. In our opinion, this one has a more appealing lustrous & a nicer satin texture. It is CAC certified.
