Edward VI (1547-1553), Third Coinage, Fine Silver, 'Horseman' Crown, 1551, Tower, King on horseback right, date below, rev. square-topped shield over cross fourchée, 30.76g, 10h, m.m. y (Lingford A-7 [cf. lot 9]; Rodney-Smith 9 = Hopetown House 303 = Rees-Jones 2 same dies; Miller 1 same dies; North 1933; Spink 2478), lightly cleaned, flecked and surface marked behind King, about very fine, the reverse better with attractive tone but doubled.
