CHRISTO • AVSPICE • REGNO (m.m.), oval garnished shield, CR above, 5.94g, 4h, m.m. plume (Sharp C2/1; Brooker 445; North 2221; Spink 2787), a significant flan split at 7 o'clock and tarnishing at 12 o'clock on reverse, otherwise an exquisite coin, possibly struck with 'fine work' dies, the central devices pleasingly bold, good very fine, the reverse better still, rare thus.
