(x) Anglo-Saxon England, Secondary Series (710-760), Series J, Sceat, Type 36, 'York', diademed and draped bust right, cross before, rev. two birds (eagles ?) right, foreground bird has distinct eye, three tail feathers and splayed feet, cross pommée before, 1.28g, 1h (Abramson 399-400; North 134; Spink 802D), off-struck on reverse, otherwise a superb coin of excellent fabric, extremely fine, rare in this condition.
