The L'Abbaye Collection | George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1727, second bust, no stops on obverse, rev. seven strings to harp, roses and plumes in angles, edge obliquely milled, 5.77g, 5h (Bull 1607 [R5]; ESC 1188A; Pywell-Phillips 279; Spink 3649), flecked, porous and with surface marks, otherwise a clear type coin of this extremely elusive date, only a strict fine / good fine for strike, but excessively rare.
