Stephen (1135-1154), 'Awbridge' Penny, Ipswich, Ælfric, +STIEFN[E REX], crowned bust three quarters facing, sceptre to left field, rev. + ALVRIC ON GIPES, voided short cross, inverted fleurs in angles, 1.31g, 5h (North 881; BMC VII; Spink 1282), the obverse a touch off-struck, otherwise toned, about very fine, a previously unrecorded moneyer for this mint.
