Rx: VIC PART P M TR P XX COS IIII P P Caracalla standing l. in military dress, holding globe before him and spear or scepter with lowered l. arm, crowned by Victory standing l. behind him and also holding palm, at his feet captive seated l. with hands tied behind back. Commemorates Caracalla\'s successful raid into Parthia in winter 216/7 AD, shortly before his assassination in April 217. Rare type, only one specimen in Reka Devnia hoard, not in Paris by Cohen\'s day, nor in BM by 1975.Beautifully preserved, and with mirror surfaces. FDC
