Rx: ALIM ITAL in exergue, SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI around, Annona standing r., head l., holding wheat ears above small togate figure at feet, and cornucopia with tip turned from body. The reverse commemorates Trajan\'s Alimenta Italiae, a program that used money derived from land mortgages to pay for the sustenance of poor children.. EF
