Rx: Large prize crown inscribed [TEMIA] and containing palm between caduceus and aplustre, set atop table with three legs shaped like lions; to r. Bacchus standing l. holding bunch of grapes and thyrsus, panther at his feet; reverse legend naming the city and its titles "Autonomous" and "Naval Command Center" is mostly illegible. "The presiding deity of the Themian games was the goddess Themis, personification of Justice and Order, who had been the patron of the oracle of Delphi before Apollo.
