Dattari/Savio-pl. 216, 9724 (this coin), Emmett-2706.8 (R5, citing this coin). Obv: [AVT K ? CE?T] CEVH EV ?EPT CEB APA A[?I ? M] Head laureate r. Rx: Eagle with half-raised wings standing r., head l., holding wreath in beak, date L - H across field. Ex CNG 53, 15 March 2000, lot 1227 (Philip DeVicci Coll.); ex CNA II, 7 November 1987, lot 353; ex Dattari/Savio pl. 216, 9724. From the Dattai Collection, apparently unique; only this specimen was known to Emmett in 2001. Probably from the same obverse die as Cologne-2274, there coupled with a reverse die of Year 9 rather than 8.Any Alexandrian coins of Septimius Severus are very rare and rarely come in such nice condition. This particular coin is apparently unique. EF
