Paul Vincze (1907-1994), was born in Galgagvork, Hungary and studied under Ede Telcs at the Budapest School of Arts and Crafts and then for 2 years in Rome. In 1938 he fled Nazi persecution and settled in England becoming a British subject in 1948. He is best remembered for his many medallic portraits.
