Cuba 1961 P-97x PMG Gem UNC 65 EPQ 20 Pesos "USA C.I.A COUNTERFEIT"
A very interesting item. This was produced by the Central Intelligence Agency in the United States and is a counterfeit of the 20 Pesos in circulation in Cuba in 1961. These were given to members of the 1961 Bay of Pigs invasion force. While it can be considered a relatively high quality counterfeit, the missing serial number at right and F69 prefix makes it easily identifiable. One of just a few we have handled in recent years.
