Guadeloupe ND (1942) P-23a PCGS Choice Fine 15 100 Francs
During World War II, the Bank of France printing services were unable to produce banknotes. The opposition government to Vichy France, operating outside the country, had to find alternative printing services to meet currency needs for their colonies. As such, E.A. Wright, a printer in Philadelphia, was tasked with producing notes for Guadeloupe. This middle denomination is rare in any grade and maintains good eye appeal. PCGS mentions "Missing corner tip".
