In 1971, the Dinar replaced the Libyan Pound at par. The first series of notes, without dates and without the Quran inscription front bottom right, are quite rare and are very desirable in Gem Uncirculated grade. This desirable Gem features one of the first three prefixes and it is significantly more scarce than subsequent issues. An important note in this sale.
