João Prince Regent 960 Reis 1816-R AU55 NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM313, LMB-426, Bentes-335.21. While not a particularly rare issue on its face, this specimen comes struck on a scarce Argentinian "Sun Face" 8 Soles of 1815, with clear evidence of sun rays radiating from the center of the obverse. Always an interesting juxtaposition, and especially so certified just shy of Mint State.
