Pedro II Counterstamped Real ND (1865) VF, KM-B2, Pratt-MR2, LMB-Unl. 3.33gm. 18mm. Counterstamp ("1" on hexagon with rounded edges and horizontal lines) on a cut Bolivia 4 Soles ND (1827-1860). War of the Triple Alliance issue (1864-1870) fought between Paraguay and the triple alliance of Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. A charming example with remnants of the legend "REPUBLICA BOLIVIA" to the obverse and "BOLIVAR" and his worn bust to the reverse.
