Augustus. 27 B.C.-A.D. 14 AR denarius (21.1 mm, 3.58 g, 6 h). Colonia Patricia(?) mint, struck ca. 18-17/6 B.C. Bare head of Augustus right / AVGVSTVS, Capricorn left, holding globe attached to rudder, cornucopia above its back. RIC 128; BMCRE 345; RSC 25. aVF, lightly toned, oval flan. Scarce.
The left facing capricorn is far less common than the right facing variety.
